Diocesan Altar Guild
The Diocesan Altar Guild meets regularly on Thursdays at the Cathedral Center.
Guild members are available for consultation with representatives of local altar
guilds within the congregations of the diocese.
The Diocesan Guild also completes a variety of projects serving bishops, the
Cathedral Center, and the wider diocese. Vestment design, repair and teaching
are among the guild's areas of expertise.
The Diocesan Altar Guild also hosts an annual meeting and occasional workshops.
New volunteers are always welcome to visit and to join the Diocesan Altar Guild.
The Altar Guild Prayer
Oh God of beauty, love and peace, make us thankful for the privilege of adding
beauty to thy sanctuary, growing in love through thy service and gaining peace
through thy presence through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen
